Feetle: A Simple Strategy for Your Next Word Ladder

 Getting stuck in a word ladder? Try planning backward from the destination. To reach FEET, look for a final step such as FEED or FELT, then connect your starting word to that route. Each move changes exactly one letter and must form a valid word.

That is the challenge in Feetle, a free browser game I run at feetlewordle.com. Our independently operated site offers its own daily puzzle and an unlimited mode for practice. No account is required. The shortest route sets the benchmark, but longer valid paths still count as a win. How would you approach your next ladder?

Building Daily Red Pokemon: A Daily Battle Against Red

 I’ve been working on Daily Red Pokemon, an unofficial browser game built around a simple idea: what if a classic Pokémon battle felt like a daily puzzle? Each day, players receive a team of six level-100 Pokémon and one official attempt to defeat Red. Everyone playing on the same local calendar date gets the same team. You can inspect your Pokémon, choose a lead, and decide when to attack or switch. Red opens with Pikachu, but the first decision is yours. I wanted the daily attempt to matter without making the game hard to explore. That’s why there is also unlimited practice. The game is free, runs in a modern browser, and requires no account. Official battle progress is saved on your device, so you can resume after refreshing the page. Battles follow Generation III mechanics, including the type-based physical and special damage split.  I’m building PokeSurvivor Online, a free browser survival game using Astro and Canvas. Choose Bulbasaur, Charmander, or Squirtle, collect Stardust, and spend it in shops between stages to shape your build. The challenge spans 20 stages, with Snorlax, Onix, Gengar, and Mewtwo guarding your progress. Automatic attacks keep the focus on movement and dodging. Standard and Daily modes support keyboard and touch controls, with local checkpoints and no account required.
